Red Team are an energetic bunch. From their HQ in Hampton, they conduct their own brand of group health and fitness training, and they needed a visual style to match! Co-director Johny Nockles asked me to develop a brand style to appeal to a younger demographic and one which would stand out against the clean and polished personal fitness crowd. Therefore a part retro, part grunge style was decided on with the first piece developed to be a logo. The idea here was to create a device that looked like it belonged on sports merchandise – which it does, with it now adorning caps, singlets and drink bottles!
The website is an important messaging tool for Red Team, as most of their clientele are regular Facebook users. This being the case, it was important to include a blog and use Facebook as a portal for traffic to this and other parts of the site.
